The Ghanaian football top flight just got a new headline sponsor. Now it is called betPawa Premier League — named after the renown African online sports betting site.
The bookmaker company informs of this, following the official signing ceremony in the Accra headquarters of Ghana Football Association. Mr Eazy, the ambassador of betPawa, visited it and stressed in his speech that this partnership is to grow and harness talents in Ghana.
The sponsorship is another activity by betPawa Ghana, coming after the “Win BIG, Give Back” and “Dream Maker” campaigns aiming at helping the local communities.
The president of Ghana Football Association, Mr Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku: “For the country to be able to compete fiercely and on equal footing with other talents across the globe, there is the need for companies like betPawa and corporate Ghana to contribute to complement the effort of the Government.”
The new 2022-23 betPawa Premier League in Ghana starts on September 2.
